Yudhajit is a Mental Health Law Paralegal at Arcright Legal Solicitors. He graduated from the University of Exeter in 2025.

As part of the Mental Health Law team, Yudhajit assists clients detained under the Mental Health Act 1983 (as amended), providing legal advice and helping them understand and exercise their legal rights. His role involves taking detailed instructions, reviewing statutory reports and medical records, and liaising with Mental Health Act Offices and clinical professionals. He also undertakes case preparation for Hospital Managers’ Hearings and First-tier Tribunal proceedings, assisting solicitors in preparing cases for hearing.

Experience

Prior to joining Arcright Legal Solicitors, Yudhajit volunteered with Citizens Advice in Tiverton and interned at a law firm in Crediton.

He also worked as a Case Summariser for the Financial Remedies Journal (FRJ), developing his legal research and analytical skills through summarising judgments.

Interests

Outside of work, Yudhajit has a keen interest in music and art, enjoys playing football, and is an enthusiastic reader and writer.
