Abdul is is one of the Founding Partners of Arcright Legal and the nominated Compliance Officer for Financial Administration. He is an experienced Solicitor within our Mental Health & Immigration Department.

Abdul is committed to advising, assisting and representing clients nationwide in all aspects of Mental Health law. This includes preparing cases and representing clients at Hospital Managers’ hearings and First-tier Tribunal hearings. Abdul also attends Care Programme Approach (CPA) and Section 117 aftercare meetings to gain a comprehensive understanding of his clients’ cases and to effectively communicate any concerns they may have regarding their aftercare and treatment.

Abdul has been a member of the Law Society Mental Health Accreditation Scheme since 2017. Since then, he has conducted advocacy in tribunal proceedings to a high standard in respect of patients detained under both civil and forensic sections.

Experience

Abdul previously worked in reputable firms, including firms ranked as a leading firm in Chambers and Partners, The Legal 500 and The Times Top 100 law firms, where he gained experience in Mental Health, Immigration, Housing and Community Care Law. Abdul also has previous experience of Civil Litigation, dealing mainly with Landlord and Tenant disputes.
